Weekly Photo Challenge – Broken
The Weekly Photo Challenge is “Broken”. This is a great title to work with and covers a gamut of ideas. Recently I took a photo of a fallen rose, which I thought looked so sad. It was this that immediately came to mind when thinking of a photo for the Broken challenge. I hope you like it, and appreciate my impression of “Broken”. For added poignancy, the rose is called Compassion.

Interesting photo, and also interesting that the broken rose is named “Compassion.” Since compassion involves empathy and sympathy for the pain of others, we can offer compassion only when our hearts are broken for their suffering. Good post! (…and beautiful photography on your blog…I plan to come back soon when I can visit longer.)
